Raystede Animal Sanctuary
We had been working with Raystede for several years before we were asked to create a proposal to rebuild the entire website.
Raystede is a fantastic animal welfare charity located in Sussex that has been rescuing, rehoming, and providing sanctuary for animals that have been given up or rescued since 1930. It relies on public donations to fund its numerous kennels, fields, barns (and aviary!), as well as the adoption process that enables small animals to be rehomed to better families.
We had been working with Raystede for several years, supporting them with the technical side of their website, before we were asked to create a proposal to rebuild the entire website. The user journey had significantly changed from when their initial site was built, and this needed to be reflected in the new site layout.
What we did
We already understood the needs of Raystede, but we further drilled down into this by meeting with each department so that we could get feedback and input from each area of Raystede. Different departments had different priorities for the website, so we worked with the internal team at Raystede to define this and then deliver solutions.
The Outcome
The end product was a new website that would suit the needs of Raystede now but also into the future. We have continued to work with Raystede each month to develop areas of the site further and ensure the fantastic work that Raystede do can continue with an online presence that suits a modern charity.
