The Wagon Yard
The Wagon Yard had an existing website but it had some limitations with regard to pre-orders and shipping settings. They approached us to create a new look website with added management usability for their team
The Wagon Yard had a number of key requirements for their new website. The first was a more modern look to improve the online credibility of the businesses, secondly to make the site really easy to use for visitors and thirdly add additional options for them when setting up presale products
We decided to use WordPress and WooCommerce as we knew this gave us many options on the design plus we could use advanced shipping rules.
When someone orders a pre-order product along with an instock product it gives them the option to have all items ship at once (a single shipping cost) or have the in-stock item now and wait for the pre-order to become available (ship separately)
The shop features both a search and filter system allowing visitors to find the exact type of product they are after.
The finished result is not just a website which looks and functions great for the visitor (essential in today’s marketplace) but is also simple enough for Mark and Emma at the Wagon Yard to manage.
Following a face to face training session we also produced some instructional videos on key areas so that they can manage their own website and update both text areas and add new products.
