How to find the third party apps with access to your Facebook data

With the recent news about how Cambridge Analytica harvested the data of 50 million people who had used a third party personality app on Facebook, you may be wondering who has access to the data you put on Facebook.

Now we know that Facebook does, of course, have data on you. It is after all their service you are using, but what about these third-party apps?

Luckily you can very easily check which apps you are sharing your data with by taking a look at your Facebook profile settings.

If you want to go straight to the apps setting page you can just click here or the instructions are below.

On a desktop click the small arrow in the top right-hand side of the page

Select "settings" and then select "apps"

You will then see all the apps who you have granted access too and can very easily click "remove" next to them
