Little and Often
I go to the gym 3 times a week for about 45 minutes and I am seeing improvements. The weight I lift has gone up, my body fat has reduced and I can do more burpees that when I started.
Over the last month, I have spent about 9 hours in the gym working to improve my fitness.
Would I have had the same effect if I had spent 1 day solid in the gym working out and doing as much as I can in 9 hours and then not doing any exercise for the rest of the month? In short, no.
It is much better to do little and often rather than all at once. If you wanted to get good at press ups you wouldn't just do as many as you can once and then that's it. Doing 10 every single day would be a much better approach
Getting your business "Marketing Fit" is similar in principle to the way you would approach getting your body "Fitness fit"
You need to be posting regular content to your social channels and to your blog.
Putting out 4 posts in an hour but then nothing for 7 days is nowhere near as effective as a post every couple of days.
It is the same with your blog. Regular content is what keeps your website alive in both the eyes of your visitors and also google. I try and blog approximately once a month as this keeps our website updated with new content and it also gives something else to share to our social channels.
Posting regularly tips
If you haven't already seen it, we do have a free content calendar which you can use. I would then suggest you use some scheduling software to line up your posts. This means you can spend a couple of hours once a week setting up your week's social media posts rather than physically having to create content each day.
Buffer is a great option which has a free plan but there are plenty of other options such as Hootsuite, Zoho Social, Social Report and eClincher.
